Effective October 19, 2026
Signal is a Chrome extension that helps local service businesses find potential customers in the Facebook Groups and Nextdoor feeds they already belong to. This policy explains what the extension reads, what it stores, and what it does not do.
Signal reads the text, links, and timestamps of posts displayed on facebook.com and nextdoor.com while you are logged in to your own account. It only reads content your account can already see. It does not access groups you have not joined, and it does not bypass any login or access control.
If you add Facebook Groups to Monitored Communities, Signal opens those groups in background tabs on the schedule you choose, reads new posts, and closes the tabs it opened.
Signal stores the following data in your browser's local extension storage (chrome.storage.local) on your own device:
Uninstalling the extension deletes this data. You can also delete all saved leads at any time from the extension's Settings page.
Data read by Signal is used only to identify and display potential leads to you. It is not used for any purpose unrelated to that function, and it is never used to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
